First drop

This is Twisted Timbers, the newest roller coaster at Kings Dominion. It's made by a company called Rocky Mountain Construction. Among other things, RMC converts wooden coasters to steel. You can see the red steel rails. This used to be called Hurler. Sadly, I never got to ride Hurler.

Twisted Timbers starts with an inversion twisting down the 100-foot drop. It's really good! I have been on four RMC coasters, and none has been dull. We only got one ride on Twisted Timbers because it was down a lot of the day. But that one ride was excellent.

In extras are Dominator, Intimidator 305 and the 101-year-old carousel.
