Does this count....

....as a still life; or is it a portrait of something that isn't moving?

I'm not sure, but if a still life is, in essence, a study of the way that light plays on a subject then it's close enough for me and certainly good practice.

We've had visitors so things have been a bit busy and there hasn't really been much computer time....I've still been snapping everyday but haven't had the time for the processing or posting, I expect I'll be caught up by the weekend....
