Wet plod

It was a wet wander through Cully on Tuesday evening. We tried a new route as despite the evening rain we figured the last few days of sunshine would have dried up the fields sufficiently to let us stomp through without sinking ankle deep.

The ground was fine but we did encounter a field of cows - usually I turn back when I come across them as I hate the way they turn and look at you and then wander up - freaks me out! But the good thing about plodding with fellow Cullyites is that lots grew up in the country and even on dairy farms so are full of confidence around farm animals. I made sure to plod next to them.

My achievement of the day was washing my hair and bathing in a kettle full of water - boiler was still on the blink
