Apple blossom

I spotted the most lovely tight bud on my apple tree today... when l see this my mouth waters anticipating the crisp delicious apples that will appear in the autumn.  
It's been a lot more sunny today but still with a chill wind.  The Ash trees are flowering with the first signs of their leaves unfurling whilst the oak are still in bud...' Ash before oak.. in for a soak '  l think the saying goes!
