Black Dyke Mills

Black Dyke Mills in Queensbury (Bradford) date back to 1835 and became famous for the production of very high quality wool and mohair products as well as being the home of the world famous Black Dyke Mills Brass Band.
Regretfully the mills have long been closed as textile mills and, whilst efforts have been made to preserve them, they now look rather neglected.
Happily the band continues as Black Dyke Band and is still one of the UK's Premier Brass Bands.
