Replacement shed erected

A pretty standard Friday. Gym in the morning, spoilt a little by there being no hot water for showers which meant we came home a little malodorous.

My plans of going to the allotment after lunch were thwarted by heavy rain for most of the afternoon. Instead I sat in front of the computer waiting for the broadband connection to do its thing so as I could get on with stuff.

The rain relented around 4.30 which enabled me to get to the site and complete the replacement shed and generally tidy up. Now we can get on with cultivating the remaining patches ready for the courgettes and beans.

Despite the inclement weather the beetroot have germinated as have peas and radish. The shallots and red onions are sprouting too. In the greenhouse the brassicas sown last Sunday are up too.
