Homeward bound

Last day of our conference. High energy levels for all, despite how tired we are.

Roadmaps prepared, optimism for change abounds. A farewell to a beloved colleague (not someone I know but I’ve never seen such emotion. Our last lunch, a few chats and the drive to the airport. The heavens opened, the road between Amman and the Dead Sea was like a creek, with mud and branches. We made it in good time thankfully. Well, not really, we left late due to the bad weather.. and we took longer. Almost two hours late. Home at 1245am, and need to be at work early to prepare for Parents’ Day. Hopefully I’ll sleep well.

I saw this church on the outskirts of Amman, a few in fact. Nice to see them as there are only one or two here.
