Wulydermy

After a lovely (but tiring) evening 'in charge' of Alice, we stayed overnight and then had a day exploring parts of Cheshire.
We visited a truly wonderful garden - Mount Pleasant Garden - at Delamere where I came across these ladies doing 'Wulydermy' - Needle Felt using British and Rare Breed Wool.  Today they were making Herdwick Sheep.
The garden and the sculpture trail was a delight - see my extra and Mrs MD's Blip..
We then went on to see the Anderson Boat Lift - 2nd extra. It provides a vertical link between two navigable waterways: the River Weaver and the Trent and Mersey Canal. The structure is designated as a scheduled monument.
A great day out, but nice to get back home for a relaxing 'wee dram' :-)
