Nervous moment

She was proceeding very cautiously down Middle Meadow Walk, and being encouraged by her dad to let the breaks go just a wee bit more.

I remember that nervousness the first time I tackled downhill on The Mound and Dundas St. She has my sympathies.

An excellent turnout for today's Pedal on Parliament - puppies in front loaders, wee people on balance bikes; middle-agers, youngsters; regular commuters and leisure bikers; campaigners and supporters; locals and visitors.

Blippers who have surely captured some great images (looking at you Billboard/Mr FT with your one-handed cycling while you shoot!).

And the rain stopped!

Things are improving for cycling in the city, but lots still to be done.
