Lemon Ricotta Pancakes

We decided on a quality dining experience for our last breakfast in LA. A glorious morning as we headed to Bottega Louie in Downtown. What a venue, what a menu.

These were served with house made blueberry syrup, together with freshly squeezed orange juice.

Then off to LAX, and all the hassles of airport security. I managed to negotiate a window seat on the 747, and what fabulous views as we flew over the mountains, desert, Vegas, and the Great Salt Lake. There was daylight until we reached the Great Lakes.

An eight hour time difference on an eleven hour flight to Amsterdam. I just couldn't get to sleep, missing a third of the day did my head in.
