Scuttled

Coals to Newcastle

It is the third week now of our project. The progress is amazingly fast. Foundations are dug, drains are re-routed, walls are above shoulder height, concrete is in, Acro props are up with steel girders, scaffolding has mysteriously been erected by invisible 'oompa loompas', temporary wooden stud walls built...etc..etc...

The side effects are......it's freezing....brrr! So we are hoping that our salvation will be the log and coal burning sto've. We are getting lots of stocks of coal (these are ovoids) and will be hopefully surviving with them when the heating gets replaced.

The picture is one of our 'trusty' brass coal scuttle (a bargain off e-bay). Hence coals to Newcastle - most literally.

Busy day at work so no opportunity for external blip.
