Meal Beach

Between work and helping the Other Half to prepare for a week in a caravan, I haven't had any time for photos but today I got a swim in a new location.
An artist visiting Shetland had seen my swimming photos on Facebook and ask to join me. We decided to go to a beach near where she was staying. The photo is slightly deceptive as the sun only came out as we were getting changed afterwards but it was still a great swim. She was delighted with her first swim in Shetland (and her first swim since November) and I enjoyed having some human company and the encouragement to play in a bigger swell than I am used to. If I'd been on my own I might have chickened out but it was great fun!
