Just look at me.

I have never seen these before and yet they were less than five minutes walk from my front door.

They are Kerry Hill sheep. A breed of domestic sheep originating in the county of Powys in Wales. They were first bred in the village of Kerry (or Cerri) near Newtown.

They were first recorded in the early 19th. Century.
They are not very numerous but the breed was removed from the danger list of the Rare Breeds Survival Trust in 2006.
They can be found also in Holland, Germany and Denmark.
