Rick Dickinson

Today I heard that Rick Dickinson had died. During his career, Rick designed the iconic ZX Spectrum, and many other home computers - including the recent and eagerly anticipated ZX Spectrum Next.

Many hours of my childhood were spent using the computer he designed, at the time not realising the profound effect it would have on my life, my career and appreciation for things done well. To me, these computers changed the world.

Thank you, Rick, for a job very well done.
