Zugspitze

Another morning, another hill to climb. This time it was Hoernle, a bit harder than the last couple but Jack managed it (there's an Extra to prove it) even if he seemed to be cursing an awful lot, when he had any breath to spare that is. There were seven of us today which was pretty good, my last climb for a while. Here's a view of the Zugspitze from our lunch table. Not bad.
Afterwards I took Jack up to Hohenpeissenberg for yet one more stonking view. And a Weissbier. Too hot to sit out on the terrace this afternoon but if the thunderstorms stay away it'll be perfect when we get back later from the big city lights of Weilheim.
