Mountain Walk

Our daughter was due to run in The Newport Half Marathon today but had to withdraw as she hasn't fully recovered after the birth of Amelia about 7 months ago, although she is running a few miles. They called in with granddaughter Amelia before heading off to see a friend finish.

The extra is of Amelia - I'm teaching her about blipping.........who knows, she may start young!  (Voigtlander 40mm lens at F1.2)

After they left we went for a walk over the local mountain. The blipfoto is a ruined Welsh Longhouse we walked past next to Machen Quarry that most probably dates about mid 1600's. It's in a lovely setting but no road or amenties to it!
