Wine is the glass empty?

Before church we headed over to the DJ art guys...I'm glad Danny's been able to meet the main guy in the operation!
Church this morning - a lovely surprise to see a couple of Emmaus Rd faces from our time in Guildford...
Straight to Stephen & Jud's for a BBQ to celebrate Stephen and Sinéad running the half marathon! They both did really well. A lovely afternoon of chat, food and sunshine. Asha was happy to have Darcey around too...they were both pretty chilled as you can tell from the extra of Darcey.
Then home with about 15 minutes before we had to leave for the Sa Penya service. In the end just Danny and Nate went as Asha was just so tired and peopled out...I was SO desperate to go up to Sa Penya...but I need to remember that Asha comes first, and today she just needed a break. So we pottered and cleaned whilst D & N went out. They came back happy (I've got serious FOMO at the moment)...Nate was carried about by S, who will probably start her 3 year jail sentence on Wednesday. Danny and she prayed together. Tough times. He also saw another friend who went to see the judge last week as he and his family are being evicted this week. What can we do other than pray?? Such big things happening in friends lives...

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Hearing about Danny & S's time together, & her asking if I go into the prison. I think if she does go in for 3 years I'll try and get on the list...
2) Jud and Stephen's hospitality...they know how to look after people!
3) Asha benefiting from a bit of quiet time, just the 2 of us.
