Herb Robert

Herb Robert, is a wild flower, that has a plethora of local names including Bachelor’s Buttons, Granny-thread-the-needle, Stinking Robert, Robin redbreast and Pink pinafores.

Apparently used as a cure for toothache and nosebleeds, once upon a time.

This tiny wildflower keeps turning up here and there in my garden, and looking closely today, I was just amazed at the beauty of this little wildflower.

Jane had a trip into town to meet up, and have a coffee, with her now retired probation manager.

While I stayed at home where I fixed my curtain rail, and learned that Stinky Robert lives up to its nickname when you crunch it's leaves.
