Harbourside

I cannot be certain exactly what activity the oilskin-clad figures are undertaking except that it seem to involve the unwrapping of a Canon camera from a protective layer of polythene.
Earlier we had seen several cameras with long lenses carried about the harbour in North Berwick, we asked one owner if there were particularly interesting birds visiting but were informed that they were destined for the Bass Rock to see the gannets so assume that these may be among them.
Note, however, besides the colourful oilskins and despite the blue sky, the warm hats and gloves, essential clothing in today's arctic wind, even to landlubbers such as ourselves.
The extra photo shows a stranded jellyfish so clear and colourless that I almost stepped on it. Up until today I had only seen mauve or brown jellyfish..
