The general public vocally detest rows upon rows of pine trees, unashamedly grown to become over-sized Amazon Prime boxes bringing us yet more over-packaged 'stuff' - and our other such consumerised single use 'products'.

Better than plastic, though, folks!

The privately owned 1,000 acre Franchises Wood (with public footpath) however comes alive with the just emerging late afternoon sunlight, so welcome after the wet grotty few days of late.

Photography is all about the light - without it, however weak or strong, we would be without our wondrous passion and all the beauty around us - IF we can just look and drop our prejudices, that is.
