Little Egret

At one time these birds were quite rare, but now I see them all the time on Stanpit Marsh.

lauriekazmiercz and National Poetry Writing Month have inspired me to find out a bit more about haiku and to try writing some myself.  So you'll have to excuse me if I occasionally burst into verse or worse.

White paper on grass:
Litter drifting the marshes?-
A flight of white birds.
