May Day sunshine and flowers

At last a sunny morning for May Day - and in amongst my mixed double tulips this very striking one appeared!  As our garden is terraced I didn't need to crawl down too far for the mauve bluebells - (not sure why they're mauve?!), and the chaenemoles bush is looking bright and cheery too.  Spring again?  I hope so!
