creature - from an art shop. One of the many delights of grandchildren is the justification for keeping a collection of old, small screws with which to repair the occasional forearm which has yielded to curiosity and the urge to test things to the limit.

Also a piece of work for my digital photography course - an example of depth of field with a wide open macro lens, close up.

From tomorrow I shall be managing all my pictures in Lightroom, and trying to tag everything as I go. The thought of retrospectively tagging the images on my hard disc (some 37,000) is as much of a dream as that of scanning the shoeboxes full of negatives.
