Cumbrae ferry

Listening to Radio Scotland this morning and the debate was (again) energy provision after the renewable targets set yesterday. This anti-wind farm gent was rabbiting on about how nuclear was the only "grown-up" solution and wind farms are a blight on the landscape. He was asked a few times if he would like a nuclear power station built next to him instead of wind turbines and he avoided and never answered the question.

I looked out the car window to see the white outlines (next to the ferry) of Hunterston A nuclear power station (being) decommissioned and covered in lovely concrete costing hundreds of millions and Hunterston B nuclear power station hiding behind the crane due to be decommissioned in the next few years and shook my head and thought what an ignorant dick.
