Applecross

On a day of heavy showers we drove round the Applecross peninsular. It's a slight alarming ascent over the road from the south, but an easy drive once on the peninsula. We had an excellent lunch at the popular Applecross Inn.

This is a view from the road, looking to (I guess) the Cuillin on Skye to the left, and Raasay on the right. In between is one of the many heavy showers, most of which missed us.
