Day 122/18. An unexpected wildlife image today

We spent a couple of hours today demolishing our old decking area that has rotted away after 11 years of use...not too bad a lifetime for outside wood in a fairly wet climate.
In moving one of the base timbers we found this little chap. Looking very dry and a little bit stunned, but perfectly OK. I assume he had been hibernating (do toads hibernate?) under the decking and had a rude awakening today.
He certainly does not look very happy......
I took a picture of the slightly dishevelled chap and put him safely in our rockery to sleep off the headache from my demolition hammering.
