Loch Ard

It was such a beautiful day that we decided to go over to Loch Ard and then further to Loch Chon and have a walk up the hill above the loch.  It was great to be out in the fresh air, there was a bit of a breeze which only made it more pleasant.

The only downside was in choosing a trail back down to the loch which eventually proved impassable, due to forestry work, so we had to go back up and head back the way we came.  

We stopped at the Wee Blether Tearoom at Kinlochard for tea and a scone.  Have to say their scones were a disappointment, given that they were expensive.  However, the welcome and chat made up for it a bit.
