A Stunning Day Today

After lunch I went for a walk at the estuary. It was such a beautiful day with very little wind and lots of warm sunshine. The tide was almost fully in.

I watched a heron fishing. There was much splashing  but the crab got away. The heron is in the extras and the blurry dark mark among the splash is the lucky crab

There is not a scrap of snow on the mountains even though we are now into May.  Winter can hang off for as long as it wants - I am in no hurry for the colder days.
