Another Great Horned Owl

Check out the talons on this bird. She has 3 chicks and was away from the nest to do a little hunting for dinner. I waited for quite awhile as she kept checking out different possibilities. Finally, I let her be and resolved that as it got closer to sunset, she would find food for her and her chicks and settle down for the day.

The extra is just to prove that I love to take photos of birds - any type of bird!
