Spanish City, mid face-lift

Just back from a (very) bracing walk along Whitley Bay seafront, large mug of coffee laced with something a bit stronger on the table and "Tunnel of Love" by Dire Straits playing on the kitchen ghetto blaster. The Spanish City has certainly seen better days, but apparently the restoration to it's former glory is going to plan....it's due a new coat of white paint on the exterior in the spring (when the weather is kinder/more predictable) and the restoration of the interior is looking good if a picture in the local paper is anything to go by. Now all they need is someone with a decent plan for a viable future use!
