I did go out for a meal last night and was so glad l did , lovely friends and food ( Lebanese/ Moroccon ) just what l needed.
Then lo and behold l was out for lunch today with Elaine, l got the train which she had caught in Leeds, for the last two stops before we arrived in Ilkley.
Great atmosphere in the town already in preparation for the Tour de Yorkshire cycle race which will host the stage 2 finish on the summit of The Cow and Calf Rocks.
Enjoyed a Ploughmans and a glass of red, followed by a divine rhubarb and ginger crème brûlée.
Had a tootle along the Grove and how festive it looked with lots of yellow and blue umbrellas and bunting strewn all along it.
Stopped at the bandstand where there was yet another painted bike, to get my shot ( see extras ) and then gave it a twirl to try and make it into an image of a bicycle wheel.
We love our cycling in this part of the world.
