Blue for Flower Friday

I enjoyed a lovely walk around the local gardens this morning, along with busloads of school children.  I guess Friday is field trip day, because they were everywhere.  They appeared to be about 7 years old, and they were noisily identifying turtles, bees and flowers to check off on their scavenger lists.  They were grouped according to T-shirt color.  Funny - many of those shirts fit more like dresses.  So much energy!

The garden is full of fading tulips, all shades of azaleas, and sweet smelling wisteria.  I chose this blue flower, which I think is an anemone, because I love the shade of blue.

Thank you, Anni, for continuing to host the flower challenge!
