Turning

Going to and coming back from a dog walk at Eastside affords two different turbine views. This one has a power line and a moored rig in as added interest; in the other view the turbine seemingly looms out of the road as it appears over the brow of a hill. There are a couple of rigs in Scapa Flow at the moment and one or more tankers; during the two world wars when huge naval fleets were moored here the sight must have been overwhelming.

A funny day which was a bit meandery and aimless as we were waiting in for the plumber (again - the boiler is having a few moments). LH offered to try and sort out my squinty golf drives so we had a bash late afternoon. He was a darn sight more helpful than that golf pro (maybe I'll stop moaning about his addiction to YouTube golf videos!).

In extras: I had a bit of fun puzzling out the crocks as far as I could. There are some pretty designs and a nice storage jar plus a couple of 'interesting' ones.
