Market Place, Salisbury. The life size statue of Henry Fawcett. Born in Salisbury 1833, blinded at the age of 25 by a shooting accident. MP and Post Master General. Fought tirelessly for the right of women to vote. Introduced the PO Savings Bank  and the right of women doctors to work for Government.
