Work, which went by quickly, then home to wait for Keith to come and visit Jeanie together. We had a chat with the heads of care first, about her mood swings which are becoming more extreme, but they say that it is just part of dementia and that they can manage her. Instantly I saw her I could tell she not in a good mood, with a face like thunder. The first thing she said was "I hate you,". She refused tea and general interactions, but she did not resist when I pushed her outside. Gradually the red mist receded as I carried on chatting about the flowers in the garden, and then she did have tea and cake and was fine for a while, especially as there was a visiting dog. Her anxiety was coming back as we left as she did not know what to do, as she forgets that there are lots of carers to help her. Keith came back and watched the cycling on the t.v. with Harry before borrowing the car to drive to the Forest of Dean with Naomi and their bikes for the weekend.
