Breakey Blips

Geelong After Dark 2018

It is so hard to pick a favourite from this annual event of quirky art and performance held indoors and outside in the middle of the city.
To be honest, I just love the open and happy feeling that the crowd displays. There's almost a childlike delight in discovering what is around the next corner.
Our wool museum, true to its name had a torchlight feature on natural fibres, particularly the difficulty of harvesting spider silk. Though recently a goat has been bred with spider DNA, and this spider goat produces spidersilk in her milk! Intriguing!

I have popped in a few extras to show the diversity of what was on offer, but I was too busy dancing to photo the many and peculiar wandering bands. This is a permanent feature on our calendar - for sure.
