I'm just aspen...

A change of style today after yesterday's pleasingly popular blip of an earwig. While walking Ella Wonder Dog in Stirling's King's Park this morning, I noticed this aspen tree (Populus tremula) still hanging onto a crown of golden leaves. The leaf cover was so thin and reduced that it reminded me of my own receding (receded!) thatch! The edifice in the background is Stirling Castle.
