Foggy

Grocery shopping.

There was fog obscuring Davaar island and the hill behind town, but over the loch the cloud was broken and there was some sun. We decided to go to Carskey Bay anyway. If anything the fog was thicker as we drove South the ten miles or so South to Southend then followed the road round past Dunaverty beach and Kiel to Carskey Bay.

The tide was way out.
Seals on the rocks at Kiel.
We could just see the other snd of the beach from the car park.
One Tern diving offshore at Carskey.
One Gannet - flying
Lots of Ringed Plovers - pottering about on the beach.

At Carskey we walked along to the far end and back.
Fergus went running about and disappeared for several minutes along the path at the back of the dunes.

Later Apothecary7 was preparing paper with gesso with BBC radio2 in the background.
