View across to Palladian Bridge

Spring at Stourhead, a National Trust property near Warminster in Wiltshire. The wonderful weather had bought lots of people here today but the landscaped gardens are large enough to explore at your own pace even at these busy times which meant we could stop and enjoy the views as we wandered. Lots of colour from the camellias, rhododendrons and magnolias as well as the end of the spring flowering bulbs.

Before setting off for home we managed to find a delightful pub we've visited before - The Walnut Tree in Mere - that can serve most of its menu gluten free as well as being so accommodating with other dietary requests we made. Nothing too much trouble they were even going to pop out to get some sorbet if they had none in the freezer, unfortunately its very rare to get this standard of customer service these days.
