Big kids play too

Four of the grandchildren were with us today. After morning in the church (the three older ones help with the little kids programs) we drove to Linnton for lunch, then to Sauvie Island. The sandy beaches on the Columbia river side had some people enjoying the pleasant afternoon.
 A tugboat went by, creating waves and excitement to all, then a big car carrying ship. The kids had a long jump competition, and other games in the sand. John and I sat on a piece of driftwood - delighted.
