When Fergus visited a Crannog

We spent the morning at the Scottish Crannog Centre, which is at Kenmore on loch Tay.
Just along the road from Aberfeldy.

We had been once before, years ago ! We thought we could have a quick visit and perhaps try their advertised dog creche for Fergus. The dog creche turned out to be two posts just outside the front door - which was not what we were hoping for. Apothecary7 went into the shop while I took Fergus back to the car, but called me back as the man on the desk had said Fergus could visit too. That all went very well and enabled us to spend longer there. We saw the demonstrations of iron age life and went over to the Crannog. Fergus behaved very well, even when two other little dogs joined the group.

On the way to lunch at Highland Safaris in Dull we popped into a craft centre and Apothecary7 got herself a needle felting kit. We had a walk through Dull after lunch and visited the cemetery where I photographed as many headstones with the name Dewar as we could find. Headstones have good family history information.
