Another very warm and sunny day, so a "heavy duty " approach was made to try and catch up a number of overdue gardening jobs. This baby Blackbird was quite content to sit under the pergola and watch the activity, mainly because he was close to an area where dried mealworm was being spilled from the feeder by other birds, so he/she had no need to forage.
