A rest at Wrest

A bank holiday with sunshine and warmth - amazing.

We went to Wrest Park in Bedfordshire, an English Heritage property. 90 acres of garden so it never felt crowded even though there were lots of cars on the car park and on the grass.

A property with lots of interesting features from the1700s onwards. All in good order and very well looked after. We enjoyed a burger for lunch and were entertained by a local brass band - all very relaxing, even the geese were enjoying the sunshine.
