The Dingle, Llangefni.

The Dingle is a wooded valley and nature reserve in the centre of Llangefni. I had never visited it until today despite having been nearby many, many times. Anyway, more fool me,

For some reason I had got the idea that it was no more than a patch of rough ground not worthy of much attention. In reality it covers a vast area with paths and streams winding through it. I shall definitely return.

Later on we met J and A and their parents and visited the Sea Zoo and Beaumaris Castle. All of this in the pouring, and unrelenting, rain. Anyway, watching the boys storm the castle and then act out a systematic ransacking of it without any sense of self-consciousness kept everyone amused.
