Not what it seems

On our tour with the glass bottom boat, we were told about how it all works, now we have all seen beautiful photos of the reef in all those splendid colours,.

well the coral is not that colourful in real life well some are but not all, we had seen some with blue tips, and green ones. But mostly brown, apparently when the coral photographed the photographers use lights which change the colours of the coral.
So this is why this image looks like it does , I took this with my Olympus waterproof camera just a compact it's quite tricky because of the movement.
