The Pallet Collars

It’s summer here! Warm and sunny, tulips and cherry blossoms everywhere, and the grass is lovely and green and very tasty, too! I can’t believe just a month ago, it was still winter.

This afternoon, we went to visit our very good friend B and her husband C. Outside their apartment complex there is an urban gardening project going on. Every tenant gets one or two pallet collars where they can grow whatever they like. This one had tulips and rhubarb in it. Very colourful.

Chez B is one of the very best places to go for fika. In the world! Mum’s diet goes out the window, and I get Top Notch Human Food. Salmon and fillet of pork today. Yay!! We’re now resting because tonight is school night again. Hoping to earn myself lots of treats!
