Going Going

This Apple blossom is unlikely to provide any fruit. It's on a tree which had very shallow roots which must have lost their grip in the sodden soil. It fell over last week, no high winds or anything, it just fell over. There must be enough of the root system to keep it alive for now, it's giving a beautiful and defiant display of blossom.
