Yellow Archangel

The Yellow Archangel is starting to flower just as the bluebells fade away. Tonight I'm going home for the first time since my father was taken ill at the end of February. I shall have three or four days at home and anticipate a frenzy of gardening and butterfly hunting - species count has now risen to 16 with the appearance of a common blue in my father's garden - something of a surprise given that the first national sighting this year was 6 May.
