River of Flowers

Tuesday: Geranium, Aquelegia ...

... Lovage, Heuchera, Teasel ... which seem to have shot up overnight!
Cloudy this morning and felt as if rain wasn't far away, I moved all the daffodil pots to their "resting" place so that I could use their staging outdoors for pelargonium and seedling trays which needed moving out of the greenhouse - spotted a toad under the staging and carried it over to the big compost bin to check if there was another toad there - 2 toads!! First toad returned to its spot under the staging ...
Transplanted tomato seedlings Moneymaker and Tumbler into small pots, also cucumbers and courgette. Checked my "incubation" drawers and was pleased to see that chilli seeds have germinated and musk melon, watered other seeds and left them there. Purslane and creeping thyme are also beginning to show through from seed sowing a few days ago.
Rain arrived by lunchtime and continued all afternoon, clearing around 4pm when the sun came out and it was pleastly warm.
