Marvellous Maldon ..... and just out of shot (sorry) the site of the old Tin Shed Parliament, a regular gathering place for prominent fishing families to sort out the problems of the world. Discussions were “... in quaint fashion on the weather, boats, fishing and alterations to the town.” Conversations would continue until someone said, “that's water over” and then things were settled. I think we need more Tin Shed Parliaments.
